2005 Write-up: Not a bad turnout to say the least that it was Texas / OU weekend and most of our team had decided for health reasons that it was best to go to Dallas for the “12oz One Hundred.”  Seemed to be an excellent choice and judging by the late night phone calls that I couldn’t understand….it was. For those that were in H-town, the Elves and More was an excellent ride to test out those legs again and get back in the saddle sores. Whoever believes the saying “Its just like riding a bike, once you know how…… Must not be riding the same bikes that we rode last weekend. What the saying really should say that it is just like getting your ass sore and tired again now that you are back on a 3 centimeter bike seat for 4 hours. It was openly apparent that although some of us may have lost a stride or two over the summer’s beerfest, it was nice to know that we didn’t lose anything in the bullshit department. 2005 Riders present were Jim “Rearview Mirror” Black, Griff Jaggard, Blake “The Big Homosapian” Moorman, Josh “Squashed” Lowrey, and for the girls team....we had Jessica “The Carney Man”  Flemming and Brittney “Suzy Biker” Hicks……who by the way pulled out a strong 43 miles on the first ever ride…..way to go chicas!!!!! All in all, a great cause, good times and a lesson to those who didn’t make it, it really is fun getting the crew back together for a good ride and some cold Dr. Budweisers. Oh and to those rednecks that thought they were cool honking at us and wizzing by on their crotch-rocket Harley’s………..eat S*#T!!!!
