2009 - MS 150 

Attention Team:

We wanted to contact everyone to let you know the status of the Carney Men for 2009. Due to time constraints with Griff and I and our families there will be a different MS 150 in 2009. We are not doing the Houston to Austin ride. We are NOT bowing out of the MS 150, but only passing the buck this year as Dan Burns and his Crew will be hosting an MS 150 ride 2009 from Midland to Post on July 18^th - 19^th, 2009.  The Carney Men are still alive and we will be riding in the 150, it will just be the Cactus and Crude MS 150 ride in West Texas. (This by the way is a much less crowded ride which some of you might enjoy and give everyone an even better chance to do some riding as a team along the way as well as form some new friendships). This ride will carry with it the same enthusiasm and energy in past years when Griff and I have hosted it. This is not to say there will not be a 2010 Houston to Austin ride, but for 2009 we are moving it to the middle of the summer with a different location to change things up a bit and give everyone some different scenery and grow the team in other cities. We are aware that might be a little way to go, but if you can make it, trust us it will be well worth it. Griff and I spoke to Dan Burns and it is going to be a fun filled and exciting challenge for everyone. They are in the process of arranging accommodations, meals, support and spirit teams, and plenty of cold Rolling Rock on ICE for all team members; further details will be available soon. All information and updates will also be on the Carney Men home page as usual.  We have included the links below and Griff and I will be along for the ride so please join us in this fight for an exciting year!
