Where your money went...
- The Carney Men beat their goal and raised over $112,500 as a team that went directly to MS research.
- This year’s MS 150 had a total of 13,000 riders participate and raised over $13.1 million for Multiple Sclerosis.
- All of the funds raised go directly toward finding a cure, researching more effective treatments & medications.
What we accomplished…
- We doubled the size of our team and the amount of money raised from last year.
- Educated 30 new team members about the specifics of Multiple Sclerosis.
- As a team we increased community education and awareness on MS.
- Successfully trained and completed the 180 mile journey on a bike from Houston to Austin.
- Came one step closer to a cure for MS. |
- We were in the top 20 in fundraising out of 233 teams in 2005 – 2007.
- Won the Most Spirited Team award in 2005.
- Back to back winners in 2006 - 2007 for the Best Team Promoting the Mission award
To all who donated we greatly appreciate your support. In just 4 short years we have raised over $235,000 that goes directly to MS research and funding for a cure for this disease that affects so many close to us. On our team of 60 riders, 30 of us have a close friend or are related to someone that has this disease. This commitment is very close to our hearts and something that will keep us riding this 180 mile journey until there is a cure. This year marked the 23rd anniversary of the ride which included 13,000 participants that raised over $13.1 million dollars. This ride has increased in popularity and has led to the improved treatments and advancements in medicines. These treatments allow a great majority of people with the disease to live very normal and healthy lifestyles. Our team is playing a part in this battle and will continue to do so because we are lucky enough to have the support from individuals like you. Thank you for your generosity,
